Doug Petrie, scriptwriter for the season five Buffy episode Fool for Love, talking about long hours at work:

And it’s funny, I asked Joss Whedon, you know, “what do you do when you’re working around the clock at the office, and you need to sleep,” ’cause there’s nowhere to sleep. And Joss told me, “go down to the sets, ’cause they have these really comfortable beds.” I actually wound up sleeping in Mom’s room, you know, the Mom’s Room set. I was looking at all the beds, I was like Goldilocks, trying to find the right bed to sleep on during the marathon writing session for ‘Fool for Love’. And I tried Xander’s bed, but it wasn’t quite right; and Buffy’s bed, but that just felt kind of awkward and, you know, stalkery fan-boy; and then I tried Mom’s bed, and it was very very comfortable – it was just right.
