Email in the hazy past
Friday, April 22nd, 2005Reading a book on functional programming from 1987, I was surprised by the author’s contact details:

I couldn’t figure it out at first – what country code is ‘.cs’? – but then I realised it’s expressed backwards, like an IP address. I wonder if this is the way that all domain names were expressed back then? I’ve never seen this before, so I thought I’d share it.
